Stair balusters for black railings by HMH Iron Design. This was custom metalwork for a residential home in Brooklyn. We did there a bespoke design in a modern minimalist style to complement the home interior. The combination of strict matt black color and glossy brass makes this decorative element simple and elegant. Together with straight rounded banisters straight handrail also enhances contrast. Those features are in trend for contemporary minimalism. This home interior consists of two main colors: brown and white. We decided to continue with the main palette and made railings with blackened steel and brass parts mixed together.
