I had a very small project (even "project" seems too grandiose of a word, as I only needed a small piece of steel cut... to size) but Steve, Kevin and the rest of the guys at HMH helped me out and were incredibly kind through the process. They were able to have the piece cut to size in under 2 hours and it was a perfect fit for what I needed. I'm thrilled to have them in the neighborhood and certainly will be returning in the future when I have similar needs!read more

Steve and everyone at HMH Iron Design were really wonderful. I had ordered an aluminum door track that ended up being... too long for the doorframe, as well as had screw holes drilled into the wrong spots for our frame. They very promptly cut the track to match the size and spacing of the holes of our current track. Would highly recommend, and I'll be going back soon as well.read more

I found HMH Iron Design through a Google search, and emailed them with an urgent request. I'm so glad I did- Steve... responded right away and was able to make a repair almost immediately.The overall experience with this company was outstanding. I'm highly satisfied with how efficient the project was completed, and the workmanship quality is exceptional. I won't hesitate to use them for another large project and will be recommending them to friends/family/neighbors in the NY area.read more

We worked with HMH Iron Design, their internal designers and the owner to design and construct a luxury steel and... glass doorway as an entrance to an ensuite bath. The whole process was 100% from beginning to end. The final constructed portal is absolutely gorgeous and built with a high level of craftmanship. We are now designing with HMH and constructing with them a custom made table for our Studio utilizing their iron design capacity and expertise while incorporating some beautiful ceramic pieces as the top. I can not recommend them more highly.read more

HMH are amazing. Steve is amazing. I walked in off the street with an urgent project for my kitchen and they were able... to help me figure out a solution on the spot and the job was done literally the next day. I looked all around for someone to help me with a small project - understandably too small for most people - and too... small for Steve and his team of craftsmen. However he understood I had a need and he came up with a unique solution to my window and skylight requirements. He was the only person who didn’t offer me “eBay” and “Craigslist” as a solution to my problem. I did a little homework and together his team crafted me exactly what I needed to help elevate the windows and skylights in my home.After seeing the many other craftsmen-like projects he has done and those in the works I can’t wait to use his services for one of our homes. Attention to detail and truly caring about the finished product and his customers is evident in how he runs his business. A diamond for sure.read more
