Metal fabrication Shop in Brooklyn
what's new
Let’s introduce our metal fabrication shop in Brooklyn. We provide all architectural metal services, starting with 3D-visualization and finishing with installation and clean-up. At HMH we manufacture out of our 10,000 SQ foot shop located in the Gowanus section of Brooklyn.
Over the past 13 years, we have completed numerous projects in the retail industry as well as commercial and private homes. Some of our projects include the David Yurman store in SOHO – Innisfree on 5th Ave – the NBA store – Baccarat Hotel feature wall and many more. Most of our projects are in New York, most recently we are on the west coast for the “Supreme” store, opening in San Francisco. Please have a look at some of our recent projects on the website https://hmhirondesign.com/ or Instagram https://www.instagram.com/hmhirondesign.
What we do
Staying true to the design intent and finishing the project within a budget on time every time is our top priority. The way we have accomplished this – is by working closely with the architect and designers assisting them with the “design-build process”. Many times, the frustration discovered by both the architect and the client could have been avoided by having been involved early on in the process. We specialize in working with all types of metal including brass, architectural bronze, cold rolled and hot rolled mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and glass, our finish work includes all types of patinas, galvanized, painted, and powder coating. Aside from the usual architectural and ornamental metal and glass we also have incorporated items beyond our typical scope which include:
- Custom bronze casting
- Black nickel finishing we have done for a fashion designer for custom belts
- Custom cast glass
- Oversized 265” X 106” tempered laminated low iron glass
Our metal fabrication shop in Brooklyn has been operating for 13 years and we have a beautiful 10,000 sq. Foot shop, with just a 2-minute walk from the Smith and 9th Street train stop. The convenience of being able to walk into our shop during the design and manufacturing process to see the progress is invaluable, contrary to other manufacturing shops policies we encourage our clients to walk in any time so that they always know where the project is holding.
Our team is key to reaching customer satisfaction on every project. Every craftsperson at HMH is a master in his own field, expertly utilizing every metal-working technique in the book (old school blacksmithing, laser-cutting, water-jetting, etc.).
Our dedicated engineers are ready to work with clients to solve any problem. No matter its scope or complexity.
